DIALOGUE:
Listen to the following podcast about falsehood, and answer the following  questions:

• Why was Javier upset?

• What does Javier think of Terry?

• How did Florian take his advice?

In the second part, listen to the teacher as he explains the dialogue, step by step.

Vocabulary:

– cozying up: do and say things to establish a close relationship with someone (not necessarily a romantic one)

– alterior motif: a secret, hidden reason for doing something

– two-faced: a dishonest, not trustworthy person; one that says one thing to a person, then something else to another one

– stab (someone) in the back: to suddenly do something that will hurt another person
